Our tennis necklaces are made of the best quality .925 sterling silver and plated with a rhodium finish for extra durability and shine.

Sterling silver is an alloy, or combination of metal types. Unlike pure silver, which contains 99.9% elemental silver (Ag), sterling silver (925) contains one or more additional metals that add strength to the otherwise delicate material. 

The stamp 925 is used to identify genuine sterling silver jewelry, which contains 92.5% silver.

 

Rhodium is a rare and precious metal that is 10 -25x times more expensive than gold, the most expensive metal availablle. Rhodium is a member of the platinum group of metals and is silver-hued, highly reflective and does not tarnish or corrode. It is harder than gold and is highly durable.

Our silver pieces are made from .925 Sterling Silver and plated with rhodium. Rhodium is a hard durable precious metal of the platinum family. Rhodium plating (electroplating) is done to prevent scratching or tarnishing, protect the underlying metal, and give the jewelry a white and shiny appearance while providing increased durability. 

All of our jewelry is safe to wear in the shower and to work out in and will not tarnish.

Clean with warm water and a mild liquid soap (like Ivory or Dawn dish soap). Rinse and dry with a soft, lint-free polishing cloth immediately to avoid mineral residue from the water.

• Avoid exposing your jewelry to harsh chemicals and perfumes and wipe away any residue if it does come into contact with your jewelry.
• Take your jewelry off when swimming in heavily chlorinated pools as the chlorine can damage the rhodium plating.
